Create "bundled" product - mix and match variants

Hi there

I am looking for an app that can create a mix and match product. This is the scenario:

We sell tattoo ink in a multitude of colors. We want to make mix and match sets, where the customer can choose a predetermined number of colours for a set price. So for example, we would want to set up a product (40 Color Set), that lists all the available colours, and the customer could choose the 40 colors that they want, and pay one set price. Here is an example of what we need: https://www.barberdts.com/uk/pick-mix-page#.W9_mTnozai6

Does anyone know of a solution?

Hi Erica,

Nick here from Shopify.

Thanks for messaging and explaining what you're looking for with the link. The best way about going about this within Shopify is via a product bundle app. Each app is different and it might not look exactly how it does in the example you gave, but functionality wise you should find a way. Let's take a look at some of the most popular product bundle apps in the Shopify App store below:

Should you want to mold and edit the functionality to the way it is with the example you gave, your best course of action would probably be reaching out to a Shopify Expert directly as it is something which would be so customized.

Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask should you have any other questions.

All the best, Nick

Hi Nick

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have contacted the plugin developers to see if their apps will do the job for us.

Brilliant. Fingers crossed they do. But regardless there are a few different options for you.

A quick update. The developers of Advanced Product Options got back to me, saying they could help. They said: "You may create an option with input type "Multiple Swatch" (a customer may select multiple items) and set a selection limit to 40 items." This sounds good and I will probably give it a try.
