Connect with the Shopify developer community

Want to know what’s great about Shopify? It’s a community of entrepreneurs trying to make commerce better, together.

If something is missing from the core feature set, there’s a good chance an app developer has already built the solution and published it on our App Store. If not, there’s a great chance that you can find an app developer who’s willing to help.

Store owners, I’d like to introduce you to our developer community. This discussion board is where you can engage with the community to find solutions to your problems. Here you can describe your problem (or ideal solution) and see if an app already exists. If nothing exists, you can work with a developer to come up with a solution together.

Developers, this is your opportunity to connect with store owners and find out what they want built. Ask questions, gather feedback, and work together to create solutions. Have you already built a solution? Feel free to share a link to your App Store listing.

By working together, store owners and developers can transform the future of commerce. I can’t wait to see the apps that result from this collaboration.

Happy problem solving!

You could, every once in a while, reply to some of the messages on this forum. That would also help, especially on questions that app developers can't answer without the input from someone from the company.

Thanks!

Great feedback, thanks Viktor. Shopify employees will join the discussions as well, especially when questions require internal context to answer.

yep. agreed. At this moment, there are 371 pages of topic listings (88 pages of unanswered topics). Rather than using the search box or scrolling through page after page, I'd appreciate more explicit organization.

It would help if the storefront-api-examples on the github repo were using the latest version of shopify-buy. It seems that for months they've been on an outdated v1-alpha version.

Feel free to reach out to me directly if you need to solve your problem with a Shopify app. We already built several public and private apps for clients including our own.

Hi Sergey,

I am building a shopify app and i created app/uninstall and shop/update webhooks. But problem is these web hooks are not hitting our end point. We are using a valid SSL end point still i am not getting responce from the shopify. May i know what would be the problem?

Thanks in advanced,

RK

Hi RK,

I don't think this thread is an appropriate place for technical questions. It's for store owners to connect with app developers.

Can you send us an email to info AT asoft.co? Please, mention whether other webhooks hit your endpoint.

Thanks.
Sergey
