Discussion Forums >Feedback On My Store>untitled
I went to your site and their was no " shop now" link or categories to check, this is a major issue for your customers as they preferred an easier way to navigate your products , the only this you have is search, and that alone don't work, also it would help to create slide images of your products on the main page, just be creative about it, hopefully that helps
Thanks Mack - I moved things around based on some of the feedback. Check it out.
Just tried to visit. I was able to get to your site without the www but it goes to the password page. I am assuming you are making a lot of changes and that is intentional.
When I tried to go using the www, it went to an about blank page.
Just wondering if you have shut down or still going. It might be worthwhile to make those changes on a duplicate page and then switch over when you had the changes made. With the store password page up then you might not be able to keep even the people who are looking at your page.
Hi Chris: Made some major updates based on some of the feedback. We're back online now. check it out... thanks!
Forget advertising, go out clubbing with a bunch of friends wearing the t-shirts and get some feedback. Do you get compliments and enquiries about where to buy? Which of the many designs resonate the most?
Thanks for all the feedback! I have made substantial tweaks to the site to allow for smoother navigation. Please keep the feedback coming as I'm still trying to generate traffic and ultimately some sales.
Honestly, as I go through the forums, I see A LOT of these posts. I think Shopify is the only one making money on these sites.
Chris - A lot of posts make sense but claiming no one is making money is just false.
People post on the forums when they need some help - you won't see people posting when they don't. The vast majority of people don't post as they're not needed the assistance. Just look at the public numbers for Shopify stores (500k+) and compare that to the number of posts you've seen.
When starting out it's nice to get some tips from others that might be in the same position. One thing I see a lot of from people posting is that they are not giving things enough time. Growing a business / following is not an overnight thing. Even more so if you're a dropshipper - you have to work extra hard on building the brand given that your competing in a crowded space and are likely shipping slow.
Two months is definitely too short to throw in the towel - work on your website, add more merchandise, and I think the best way for you to get some traction is to partner up with a DJ Influencer [profile on Facebook or Instagram with a substantial number of followers] and organize a sponsored post. It doesn't have to be expensive, if done right, it won't cost you anything, just your time, and perhaps you might need to send a Tee to a DJ for him to wear it, promote it and post few photos on his profile. Thank you!!! I just connected with a potential influencer in less than two days using your method. Hopefully, I can grow my base if I can manage to make this new "shout out" happen.
