Pinterest marketing - problem with rich pin validator This post is outdated

Hi folks

I'm trying to integrate rich pins onto pinterest from my shopify store. I understand that I don't need to do metatags as shopify is my host it just says paste your product url into the rich pin validator, add .oembed at the end etc etc .

I've found the rich pin validator and it just says NONE at the top! Very bizare and VERY FRUSTRATING!!! There's a list of developer options down the left hand side and then the rest of the page is just blank, there is no where for me to paste my product url to get started!?

Any ideas anyone, this is driving me MAD!!!!

Many thanks :-)

You should setup a pinterest business account validate your website contact pinterest to do that.

Set pinterest as a sales channel in your admin area of shopify. Wait to get approved.

Unfortunately we're unable to add Shopify as a sales channel as your store has to trade in dollars and we're based in the UK. We already have a business pinterest account and our website has been verified so not sure why this is happening?

Thanks.

you can manually input the pin as long as itbis on you website by doing it on your phone by using the pinterest app to goto your website.
