How To Change Font Colour in Menu Bar (Header) This post is outdated

Hello there,

Ive been stuck on this one problem for ages, ive searched through the forum, only to find nothing.

The issue i have is that I am uncertain how to change the font colour of the menu bar in my header. It is currently black, but because of my theme and the background image it has become very difficult to read. I would like to change the colour to white, could you please help me?

Ive attached a screenshot of the issue;

Hey Kion,

what theme are you using?

Looks like you need to add a specific css style for the home page, otherwise you'll break your collection pages, as those have white background.

Hey Kion,

add the following snippet to Sections/header.liquid just under the code : <ul class="site-nav" id="AccessibleNav">

What it does: 1. If the header is loaded on home page, change the font color to white : #FFF

{% if template.name == 'index' %}
              <style>
                .is-dark .site-nav__link {
                	color: #FFF;
                }
              </style>
              {% endif %}

Hope this helps.
