Header and Footer alignments This post is outdated

Hey guys,

So I posted a similar topic in the wrong place earlier so will delete that one and use this one instead. I have an incredibly easy question to ask, completely new to Shopify so just having a little trouble making some minor changes to our site.. Basically, we are wondering how/where we can make changes to our footer? In particular, we would like it to be aligned to the centre. We know some basic HTML but just having trouble figuring out exactly where to make changes in Liquid as any code we make changes to doesn't really seem to have any effect at all. We are using the Classic theme if that makes any difference.

Current footer:

How we would like it to look:

I'm sure it's as simple as throwing a "align='center'" in there somewhere but struggling to find where. Apologies again for the double post and simple question

Thanks!

Try adding this to the end of the CSS file (timber.scss.liquid).

footer.site-footer {
    text-align: center;
}

Thank you so much!

Managed to find this bit of code so just threw the text-align: center; bit in after that and looks good now. Thanks again

/*================ Module | Footer ================*/
.site-footer {
  background-color: $colorFooterBg;
  padding-top: $gutter;
  padding-bottom: 20px;
  color: $colorFooterText;
