Showing "compare at" price on the collection page and not JUST on the product page This post is outdated

Hi all,

I tried looking everywhere for this and couldnt find anything AT ALL!

I have the radiance theme and I have the "compare at" price listed only once you click on the product in a collection page. It then shows up crossed off, etc.

However, I want this to also be displayed on the product site. I know it is possible as I have seen some examples, but I don't know what code goes in what page. Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated! I am new to shopify and I'm trying to learn as much as I can and figure things out, but this one is beating me so far!!

Thank you!!

You would need to edit liquid template for the collection page. How comfortable are you with doing that?

Looks like this is already done by someone from Shopify . See https://github.com/benwatts/shopify-theme-radiance/commit/bd017560a18b78789edec7ca5cf56a239a5b760f Last two files.

When did you install the theme?

let me know if you need help.

Hi Richard,

Thank you so much for your help. I recently (past month or so) started my shop and have played around changing things here and there.

The page you suggested I look at that had the two files in it, I'm not exactly sure what to do with it. Do I have download the file and then upload it in the snippet section and then go to the collection.liquid code section and reference it?

Essentially, I'm familiar with changing things around as long as I know where the code goes etc. So I thank you for that reference but I'm not too sure how to use it and where to add it. Thank you again for your guidence! I really really appreciate it!

I installed the theme on a test site http://schowalter-llc3410.myshopify.com/ password prowlt

I was able to see the compare at price on the collect page ($19.00 <small>was $23.00)</small>

From the changes I saw on github, it was made 4 months ago so if you install the theme before that, you might not have the latest theme. If this is the case, the simplest way might be to install the theme again. But be careful to not replace any changes you might have made to the theme (through theme editor).

Based on the github changes, i think there are two
snippets/product-grid-item.liquid and templates/index.liquid

You will need to look for the lines with pink background and replace it with the lines with green background.  Or add lines with green background and with a + sign at the beginning of the line.
